Laura Martignon and Jaime Martinez describe their activities in the EduS4EL project to teachers from schools in Madrid, which will cooperate in the project

The webinar presents and discusses educational materials that aim to (1) enable students (middle school, high school, college) to explore important data sets providing evidence of climate change and related phenomena such as rising temperatures and CO2 levels in the atmosphere, melting glaciers, (2) to empower students to evaluate risks related to issues of environmental policy as well as to individual life style choices (3) and to initiate reflections and discussions among students on how to regulate access to and use of common goods within a game-line scenario called Mazu.
All tools are based on CODAP and plug-ins designed by Tim Erickson.
Ludwigsburg visits Granada
Joachim Engel, from the Ludwigsburg Subproject of EduS4EL, visited Granada from September 25 till September 30. There he instructed teachers of the Instituto Virgen de las Nieves in Codap and its applications for Environmental Literacy. He also visited classrooms. On Thursday 28th he met with Magdalena Jimenez and discussed with her the upcoming Multiplier Event in Ludwigsburg. During his visit he was hosted and guided by Jaime Martinez, teacher at the Virgen de las Nieves and member of the EduS4EL project.
